    Mr. Kiminami founded RENOVA in 2000 and became the CEO. He grew RENOVA from its original Environmental Consulting business to include Plastic Recycling and Renewable Energy. Prior to RENOVA, he worked for McKinsey & Company. He holds a BS in Human Sciences, Faculty of Integrated Human Studies from Kyoto University.

    After studying architecture in university, Dr. Ogawa took charge of design and construction for many domestic and overseas projects in Takenaka Corp. Then he got involved in new business development for renewable energy projects after receiving MBA in the UK.
    In RENOVA, experiencing new business development and power plant construction by making use of his expertise in architecture and renewable energy, he currently oversees engineering, procurement, construction and operation for all the power sources.
    He holds a MS and a Ph.D in Engineering from the University of Tokyo, and an MBA from the University of Cambridge.

    Kazushi Yamaguchi
    Following graduate school studies in precision engineering, Mr. Yamaguchi joined Goldman Sachs, where he was responsible for providing client companies with practical support for finance and growth strategies, including funding and IR strategy. He also supported general management including growth strategy execution as a seconded employee and outside director of companies in which Goldman Sachs invested.
    Since joining RENOVA, Mr. Yamaguchi has employed his wide-ranging finance knowledge and management experience to supervise overall finance, management planning, IR, accounting, legal, and all other corporate functions.

    After studying international economics at university, Mr. Hamada joined Mitsubishi Corporation and had been engaged in the electric power business in Japan, Asia, the Middle East, Central Asia, and Europe for more than 20 years. He has extensive experiences in sourcing, procurement, and operation of various power sources, including solar, hydro, geothermal, biomass, storage batteries, coal, gas, oil and nuclear power. After joining RENOVA, he leads the sourcing of overseas projects as CDO(Chief Development Officer).

    Mr. Nagai specialized in environmental systems at university before joining RENOVA (then known as Recycle One) as a new graduate.
    After working in multiple business areas including environmental consulting for government agencies and the private sector, he led overall development of the renewable energy business. He formulated company-wide business strategies as Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) , currently, as CHRO, he oversees organizational and human resource strategies linked to medium- and long-term business strategies. He also supervises the biomass business.

    Naoyuki Miyabe
    Mr. Miyabe joined RENOVA as the head of Global Business in 2018. He was an advisor to RENOVA from 2015 to 2018. Prior to RENOVA, he was an investor, management member and advisor to several startup companies in Silicon Valley with primary focus on clean technology sector. Prior to that, he worked for Goldman Sachs in Tokyo and San Francisco as an Investment Banker and as a member of TMT and Cleantech & Renewables group. He holds MA in Environmental Economics from Keio University.

    Since joining RENOVA in 2018, Mr. Saiki has been promoting establishment of global business platform, project development and execution, and supervising businesses in Vietnam. Prior to RENOVA, he worked for The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ (then) and Goldman Sachs in Tokyo and Singapore in the field of M&A and various financing transactions including equity and bond offering as well as project finance. He holds MSc in Civil Engineering from the University of Tokyo.

    After studying public economics at university, Mr. Saito joined Nippon Steel Corporation (Nippon Steel Engineering Co., Ltd. at present) and had been engaged in extensive business areas such as the launch of an electric power retail business, plant sales for energy-related companies, new business planning and human resources for more than 20 years.
    Since joining RENOVA, he has consistently led the geothermal and wind power generation development and currently supervises the overall development of both.

    After graduating from graduate school, Mr. Okada joined Osaka Gas, where he was engaged in the LNG development projects in Australia.
    In RENOVA, he had been involved in environmental consulting, as well as development and fuel procurement for biomass power projects. Currently, he leads Green Transformation Division and develops new business for domestic and overseas market.

    Following university and graduate school studies in strategic management and inter-organization theory, Mr. Nakagawa joined Toshiba, where he was leading the equipment procurement for transmission & distribution substation, monitoring control system in the large-scaled overseas thermal power plants / railway projects. From 2010, he was responsible for launch of the solar power plant business and procurement for overall renewable energy business including hydrogen, onshore and offshore wind power. Since joining RENOVA, Mr. Nakagawa has been reinforcing the overall supply chain and procurement management in Asia, mainly for wind power projects.

    After studying electrical engineering at the graduate level, Mr. Doi joined RENOVA to take charge of corporate operations including human resources, finance, accounting, and legal affairs, he was engaged in the operation and management of biomass power plants in Akita City, Akita and Kanda. Currently, as General Manager of the Biomass Division, he oversees all biomass power generation projects under construction and in operation.

    After graduating from university, Mr. Suzuki joined Sato Holdings, where he was engaged in the management and operation of overseas manufacturing subsidiaries and plants. In Renova, he was responsible for the overall operation and management of the plastic recycling business and the domestic solar power generation business. Currently, as Acting Head of the Operation Division, he oversees the operation of domestic power plants, and also leads the operation of overseas power plants and the development of business administrative infrastructure.

    After graduation from university, Mr. Ando joined Kumagai Gumi, where he gained experiences in corporate planning, internal control, accounting and legal. At RENOVA, Mr. Ando led the internal audit section by making use of broad experiences on the corporate administrative area and currently takes on the position of Head of Corporate Administration, in which he oversees governance, compliance, corporate services, IT, PR and executive assistants.

    After studying electrical and computer engineering at university, Dr. Semmoto worked at Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Public Corporation (now NTT) and then went on to co-found Daini Denden Inc. (now KDDI) with Kazuo Inamori and others. Later, he launched eAccess and eMobile and led the expansion of both companies for many years. In addition to serving on the board of a renowned Silicon Valley-based company and Trustee Director of Thomson Reuters Founders Share Company, he has also served as a graduate school professor at Keio University, a visiting professor at the University of California, Berkeley and Carnegie Mellon University, and as a visiting fellow at Stanford University. With his entrepreneurial and management experience, combined with an extensive network, Dr. Semmoto is deeply engaged with RENOVA’s business activities.

    Yoshinobu Kusano
    Mr. Yoshinobu Kusano joined RENOVA as Executive Advisor in 2017. Prior to that, he worked for Sumitomo Corporation head office as well as offices in Saudi Arabia and in Johannesburg (Republic of South Africa) as its representatives. He has been involved in start-up of overseas plantation forest management and operation joint venture as Director. From 2003, he has been intensively focusing on biomass fuel development and sourcing as a head of Biomass Group of Sumitomo Corporation. He holds a BA in Law from Waseda university.
